City of Bristol College

The DAF trucks centre of learning has been based at City Of Bristol college for several years. Over the last few years, the City of Bristol College has emerged as one of the region's leading education providers.

Years of hard work, including major expansion and management restructuring, have created a further and higher education College that's at the forefront of its field. Confirmation that the College is driving up educational standards came when it was awarded the coveted Learning and Skills Beacon status for excellence and innovation within the sector. This was in recognition of the College delivering teaching and learning of the highest quality, supported by a well-led management team. The only college in the West of England area to achieve this status – and one of only three in the South West – the award is held for three years and comes on the back of an ‘excellent' classification, following a performance review by the Learning and Skills Council, for its exceptional teaching standards and students' achievements. These two awards rank the City of Bristol College as one of the top 10 per cent of colleges throughout the UK.
